Wish I would've found this bee before the Exhibition Art Showcase - look at that pollen!

Almost threw this out half way through. Painting a photograph Grandma took of me and Great Grandma in her garden for the Ex art showcase. Theme: Gardens. Just have to add a few bees and I'll win.

Mittens in July

Hot July weather? Better knit some mittens with Icelandic Wool.
Made up the pattern, and it totally worked. Will share the pattern once I remove it from my brain write it out on paper.

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Supermoon!

I don't shoot the night sky often, but the supermoon was a great excuse to get out there and set up a tripod. The mosquitoes were intense and I missed the moon as it first rose, which would have been a lot more "super" but I had fun playing around either way.
Expect more night time shooting from me!

Day one of creative challenge: I made blueberry coconut muffins then set up a photo of the finished product using my new favourite lens, the 100mm f2.8 macro.
